McCrocodile Audio was
launched in 1995 by Peter McCorquodale, using skills honed
whilst working as Audio Director at George Patterson Bates.
Late 1996, he was head-hunted to run Song Zu Singapore as
Creative Director and General Manager. In 1998 Peter returned
to Sydney in the role of Creative Director and Senior Engineer
at Sound Gallery before deciding in December 2000 to embrace
the concept of his own boutique audio company, the current
McCrocodile Audio.
In 2001 Cathy Kinsella
joined McCrocodile as Executive Producer. After nine years
as Head of Production for Song Zu Sydney, managing the demanding
scheduling of Song Zu Fox, McMahons Point, Melbourne and
Singapore, Cathy was ready for a new challenge. She successfully
combines the complicated running of all aspects of the studio
with a specialised view towards personal client management.
And she also happens to be great at voice casting.
Whilst concentrating
on the advertising industry, McCrocodile Audio has been
responsible for mixing a number of TV specials and series,
including the award-winning short films “The
Host” and “The Scree”.
Some long form projects
include:
